Maleficent: Take that look off your face!

Description

Please imagine Maleficent talking to her faithful raven... imagine what she is telling him....

Please put your own dialogue into it!

Let's have fun! See what spin you can come up with!

Needless to say that I was inspired to do a piece since hearing that Angelina Jolie was going to do a rendition of her and seeing her in costume.

I've always loved Maleficent.... her regal bearing, the voice alone would send you spiraling into fits of fury! Love her coolness, the way she makes an entrance and owns every scene she is in.

I decided to make a spin on Maleficent, having Snow White's apple instead of the usual spindle, since she failed with the spindle. The raven is rolling his eyes, thinking of a sarcastic retort!

First off this is my first critique so bear with me please<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a…" width="19" height="19" alt="^^;" title="Sweating a little..."/>.

When I saw your drawing the first thing that pop into my head is that you really capture the essence of Maleficent. I love how you make the background so dark and evil just like her and her aura. I like how you use the white blur around her to bring her out more. Also, the details is very wonderful with the fold of her dress, the apple and the bird.

All in all your work is very unique of how you draw and I really love it<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="26" height="17" alt="" title="Love"/><img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="" title="Heart"/>.
